Welcome Message from the Principal
Welcome to Sacred Heart Area School! We are delighted that you are considering joining our faith-filled community. At Sacred Heart, we offer a nurturing environment where every child can grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally. Our Catholic values guide us in fostering a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere for all families.
Whether you are seeking a strong Catholic education for your child, a community where Christian values are central, or a school that celebrates diversity—including our Spanish-speaking families—Sacred Heart is here to provide a place where all are truly welcome. We believe in the unique gifts of each student and work to help them reach their full potential in a caring and enriching environment.
As a school, we are dedicated not only to recruitment but to retention, ensuring that every child who walks through our doors feels valued and supported. We understand that choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we are here to guide you every step of the way.
I invite you to explore our programs, meet our dedicated staff, and discover how Sacred Heart Area School can be the perfect fit for your family. Together, we will help your child thrive—spiritually, academically, and socially—while being part of a caring and dynamic community.

“From Doubt to Devotion: Trusting God’s Plan”
30 April 2025 ~ Week 36
“Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
~John 20:29
Dear Sacred Heart Community,
In this week’s Gospel reflection, we are reminded of the beautiful moment when the Apostle Thomas, full of doubt, could not believe the risen Christ had appeared to the others. “Unless I see the marks of the nails in His hands and put my finger into the nail marks... I will not believe,” he said. And yet, when Jesus returned and lovingly invited Thomas to do just that, Thomas was overwhelmed: “My Lord and my God.”
What a powerful reminder for each of us. Thomas, like so many of us, needed reassurance when the world felt unstable. Jesus didn’t scold him. He met him in his fear, in his doubt, and brought him peace.
This week, as we prepare for our joyful Spring Blast this Saturday, as we open our hearts to returning and new families for the 2025-26 school year, as we welcome new teachers and continue developing programs, clubs, and opportunities for our students and community, let us remember this: We are not meant to carry the burden of uncertainty alone.
God has a plan for Sacred Heart Area School. Even when we cannot see the full picture, even when things feel uncertain or unfamiliar, we are being led by His loving hands. We are not called to worry ~ we are called to trust.
So let us not be prideful in thinking we must have all the answers. Instead, let us be faithful, hopeful, and joyful. Let us echo the words of Thomas, not in doubt, but in awe and trust: “My Lord and my God.”
May your week be filled with light. May your heart be calm. And may you walk confidently in the knowledge that everything is going to be OK ~ because God is in control.
With gratitude and peace,
Principal Perez
